This week I decided to experiment further with different dressing applications that are used in the medical industry and created a collage using elastoplasters and adding steri strips and pastel and acrylic paint to create the visualisation of damaged skin under plaster.
Following this I decided to see how the pattern would be seen when held up against glass in daylight. The reverse pattern that could be seen made me take the decision to perhaps use that side of the dressings images to progress on in my development process.
From this I took a series of photographs of the collage in reverse on glass to enable me to choose my favourite image to use at a future stage to create a printed pattern that could be printed onto fabric for my garment.
From doing this experiment it really allowed me to visualise what a print would look like on a fabric and how I could take that forward to my final garment.
