This week I wanted to start off with my primary research. So I stared this of by looking on the internet and I came across this photographer Sophie Taylor Harris, which had be looking into skin conditions. Like many others she had suffered with Acne and this took a toll on her confidence. She has just done this collaboration with Bioderma and they are looking into skin positivity and embracing your skin.

To me this was a key part of my research because in this series of images that she has taken acne and all the skin conditions are turned from not nice to look at to this beautiful portrait embracing there skin.

The colours that were also in each of the images really inspired me with the grey background and then the raw redness of there skin and all of the different textures and skin colours. With all of these images I collaged them into my A3 research book and them played around with glue which I melted on to the paper to create a texture that I thought went best with the images.
