During week 2 I began my refining my ideas. I had started this week by photocopying closely on the details of my garments so the buttons and pockets and creating collages out of them. With the close up I also manipulated them on the stand and created some really interesting shapes.

From being so drawn into jackets in week 1 I decided this is what I wanted to make. From my closes ups I stared to design jackets and then suck on the details. I then came up with my final line up.

I decided to make the jacket on the far right as I though this would be achievable. to construct this garment I used for one of the sleeve a trouser leg which I tailored to look more like a sleeve and I then attached it with safety pin with I thought it would look like a really cool detail I then thought it needed something more so I used an old airplane seat belt as the belt.

Overall I really enjoyed these past two weeks as it has opened up my knowledge on the construction of garments.
